Migration Integration
euroNAS SDN is integrated directly into migration workflows so that network readiness can be verified before a virtual machine is moved.
Purpose
Migration requires the target node to provide the correct switch availability, uplink connectivity, and network policy. SDN-aware migration checks ensure that these conditions are reviewed before migration starts.

Migration readiness
A virtual machine is ready for migration when the required switch is present on the target node, connectivity is available, and the relevant SDN configuration is in a healthy state.
Operational benefit
SDN-aware migration checks reduce failed migrations, improve maintenance planning, and make it easier to move workloads confidently within clustered environments.
Current repair workflow
For local migrations, resolve switch drift and target-node uplink health before starting the move. Use Repair All On Target Node when it is offered, then refresh the pre-check.
Remote migrations also validate partner-cluster switch inventory, uplink health, and target storage. Remote repair offers Copy and Run On Target actions. When an uplink must be replaced, the guided workflow adds the replacement first and removes the old uplink only afterwards, reducing the risk of leaving the remote switch without connectivity.
